This lecture, for the public, healthcare professionals and academics alike, brings together leading oncologists, medical physicists and therapeutic radiographers to present and discuss current and future aspects of Proton Beam Therapy.

Radiation Protection Training Course

The course provides the theoretical background and training necessary for the radiological protection requirements of both ionising and non-ionising radiations used in hospitals. The next course will be held in April 2024.

The Use of Hydrophones in Acoustics Measurement

A one day course aiming to give basic competence in selecting and using hydrophones for making pressure measurements in the MHz frequency range. The next course date is 12th April 2023, and booking is now open. Places are limited so early booking is recommended.
