Medical Physics Expert (MPE) and How to Get It

This training will provide an overview of what MPE is, the MPE certification scheme from RPA2000, hearing from those with experience of the process and how they put their portfolio together and also Assessor Expectations. There will be opportunity to look at the requirements for MPE registration in more detail and share any challenges.

 

MPE and How to Get It is aimed at those looking to gain certification as Medical Physics Experts through the Assessing body RPA2000.   It is also for anyone who wants to know more about what MPE entails to help them decide whether they want to apply or are in the process of applying.

Included within the training will be an overview of the application and assessment process provided by the RPA2000 including portfolio guidance and Assessor expectations. You will also hear from volunteers who have been through the process and their experiences of getting started and putting together their portfolio.  There will be an interactive breakout session which will provide opportunity to break into smaller groups and discuss standards, requirements and any potential challenges and solutions to reaching certification. There will be opportunity to ask questions throughout the training.

• Understand how to put together a portfolio and what is required
• Identify any potential challenges and solutions to achieving MPE Certification
