Ms Clare Anderson
Medical Physics training lead, NHSE; HCS Workforce Lead, CE ICB & Lead Radiotherapy Physicist, E&N Hertfordshire Teaching Trust
Clare Anderson is the Medical Physics training lead for the East of England region, and has a keen interest in everything training related. She's involved in training at all levels from setting up apprenticeships, as NSHCS lead curriculum editor for radiotherapy, to providing MPE and HSSE portfolio support. She works closely with NHSE, IPEM and NSHCS to help address medical physics workforce shortages.
Ms Kathryn Adamson
Consultant Clinical Scientist and Head of Nuclear Medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
Kathryn provides scientific support for both the diagnostic and therapy services in the department. She joined RPA 2000 as an MPE assessor in 2018 when the MPE scheme was initially set up,and is now also the RPA 2000 Assessment Secretary.
Mr Paul Stringer
Advanced Principal Physicist, MPE, Radiation Safety & Radiology Physics, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
Paul is a Principal Clinical Scientist and DR Medical Physics Expert specializing in Radiation Safety, currently based at GSST. He has a keen interest in outreach and staff education - helping to develop multiple staff training courses and has led in the supervision of STP trainees. Paul is also a HSST trainee and is currently working towards RWA certification.
Dr Christopher Oldfield
Senior medical physicist, nuclear medicine, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
Chris is a Medical Physicist Expert (CS021362, MPE 1281) with over ten years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging and therapy. Chris started in nuclear medicine with a PhD looking into Y-90 therapy dosimetry before completing the STP in 2020. He is involved in a variety of teaching for local universities, professional bodies, and oversees the physics STPs that train in Manchester.
