Code of practice for high-energy photon dosimetry Webinar

The 1990 IPEM/NPL code of practice for high-energy photon dosimetry has been a foundation of accurate and consistent radiotherapy dosimetry across the UK for a generation. However, it lacked detailed recommendations for calibration conditions, and the corresponding nomenclature, to account for the full range of modern treatment units with different reference fields. Therefore, an update has been recently published (https://doi.org/10.1088/1361-6560/ab99e3) which retains the strengths of the original code, whilst providing more detailed guidance and a comprehensive framework for the future. This webinar will give an overview of the new code of practice, with opportunity for questions and discussion between clinical end users and the working party members.
