We are looking for a new Vice President of Engineering to join our Presidents Advisory Committee (PAC). PAC provides a mechanism by which the President can obtain information, intelligence and advice, on external developments and contacts, in key areas of interest. You'll advise the President on internal and external issues and policies related to engineering practice and activities across the UK as well as maintain and develop relationships between IPEM and other engineering bodies.
You'll need to be a full member or Fellow and registered with the Engineering Council as a Chartered Engineer. We anticipate approximately 10-15 days per year time commitment. There are 4 PAC meetings a year, usually held by teleconference plus ad-hoc meetings to attend and other activity between meetings.
