Call to help transform IPEM’s Prizes, Awards and Grants

DO you want to help transform IPEM’s Prizes, Awards and Grants? If so, we have vacancies on two committees to help achieve a new vision of how the Institute rewards excellence.
As part of the implementation of IPEM’s Science Leadership Strategy, and ideas generated from volunteers at last year’s Science Leadership Day, IPEM is reviewing and improving its current portfolio of Prizes, Awards and Grants.
To help with this transformation, IPEM is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to contribute to two dedicated committees.
Prizes and Awards Committee
This committee is responsible for assessing applications for IPEM’s prizes and awards, in addition to reviewing and reinvigorating the current portfolio of prizes and awards to align these with the Science Leadership Strategy and the Institute’s equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
We are seeking passionate members who want to support and influence IPEM’s strategic activity in this area. More information can be found here and applications can be completed here.
Scientific Panel of Experts
As part of the development of IPEM’s grant portfolio, our innovation grants have been refreshed and more information will be released later this spring. This panel will perform scientific peer reviews of IPEM grant applications and will advise on the scientific merit of the applications.
We are seeking enthusiastic members who are passionate about research and would like to contribute to shaping the future of physics and engineering in medicine to join this panel.
