The new Communications and Engagement Panel brings together IPEM members with external communications professionals to propose and refine ideas for how IPEM can demonstrate public leadership in the field.
Purpose
The new panel will provide a combined member and external perspective and advice on IPEM’s communications and engagement activities, improving IPEM’s engagement and communication with public audiences, helping to raise the profile of the work of IPEM members and of IPEM itself, and linking in other communications and public engagement bodies in the fields of healthcare and science.

Paul Barrett, IPEM's Head of Communications:
‘The new Communications and Engagement Panel will play a key role in developing our communications and engagement activities, and, by drawing together IPEM members and external members for the first time, will provide a great balance between scientific knowledge and professional communications perspectives.’
