Medical physicists and the climate emergency

A NEW initiative from the Science Council and partners showcases blogs from scientists across a wide variety of disciplines in the battle to combat climate change, including IPEM.

In their latest Connected for COP26 campaign, the Science Council and partners are celebrating interdisciplinary research and collaboration across sectors to address climate change.

Securing global net zero by mid-century and limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees requires huge cooperation and connected thinking.

In the lead up to COP26, held for the first time in the UK this November, the Science Council are showcasing stories from a variety of disciplines to highlight the outstanding contribution of scientists and science technicians working on the latest research for a greener future.

‘Medical Physicists and the Climate Emergency’ is the IPEM contribution to this and you can read it here.
