IPEM Translation - reasons to publish

IPEM-Translation is a new, open-access journal serving the interests of medical physicists, clinical and biomedical engineers, and technologists, as well as the wider research and clinical communities.

It aims to give hospital-based researchers and practitioners in the NHS and elsewhere the opportunity to publicise their work and share best practice with those in their peer group, the wider research and clinical communities, and the general public.

Some of the top reasons to consider this journal as the home for your paper include:

  • Contributing to a journal that aims to keep all those involved in technical innovation abreast of the latest developments in health care delivery and service provision for the benefit of patients
  • Publishing gold open access means that millions of researchers globally will be able to find and read your work, completely free
  • Options to submit include reviews, technical papers, and reports on current practices
  • Led by Editor-in-Chief Dr Richard A Black, PhD CEng FIMechE FIPEM, the editorial team will ensure high-quality peer-review and a consistent independent analysis of your manuscript
  • Your open access article will be published on ScienceDirect – the number one research platform in the world, with over 18 million unique visitors a month.

Published by publishing partner Elsevier Ltd, the new journal is aimed primarily, but not exclusively, at all those engaged in the development and implementation of technologies used in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients, but also the patient groups, end users and beneficiaries of such technology.

You can view the guide to authors and visit the journal's website to learn more about submitting your next paper to IPEM-Translation.
