RPA and How to Get it
RPA and How to Get It is aimed at those looking to gain certification as a Radiation Protection Adviser through the Assessing body RPA2000. It is also for anyone who wants to know more about what RPA entails to help them decide whether they want to apply or are in the process of applying.
Included within the training will be an overview of the application and assessment process provided by the RPA2000 and also Assessor expectations in what they are looking for. We will also hear from volunteers on their experience of getting started and putting together their portfolio.
The programme will include an interactive breakout session for the opportunity to discuss in smaller groups, standards and requirements and any potential challenges and solutions to reaching certification.
There will be opportunity to ask questions throughout the training and a pre survey will be sent out so we can gather any information to help inform the content further.

At the end of the training, attendees will:
- Understand the application and assessment process for RPA Certification
- Understand how to put together a portfolio and what is required
- Identify potential challenges and solutions to achieving RPA Certification
