Successful academic re-accreditation visits in 2025!

IPEM would like to congratulate the University of Glasgow, University of Greater Manchester, King’s College London and the University of Aberdeen for the successful re-accreditation of the below programmes following accreditation visits in 2025.

The Masters Level Accreditation Framework (MLAF) involves independent scrutiny by IPEM appointed assessors and accreditation is subject to the higher education institutions undertaking specified framework activities., such as an annual audit return, and implementing any changes requested by a panel.

Engineering Council accreditation is undertaken by sector specific professional engineering institutions, such as IPEM, under licence from the Engineering Council. IPEM and other institutions interpret the standards as appropriate and use them when deciding whether degree programmes meeting the requirements to be awarded ‘Engineering Council accredited degree’ status.
