Curtis is a Senior Medical Engineer currently working at the James Paget University Hospital.  Curtis has been working in Medical Engineering at this Trust for nearly 11 years, initially starting as an Apprentice Technician in 2014.

Curtis is also a Volunteer Assistant Engineering Technician Registrar with IPEM, and it is a privilege for him to help others become professionally registered and contribute towards improving standards in the field. Curtis gained his EngTech and RCT Professional Registration in 2020 and is currently working towards IEng status.

Ibrahim has nearly 13 years of experience across both NHS and private healthcare settings. He specializes in advanced vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound, alongside ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, consistently delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Known for his professional yet friendly approach, Ibrahim works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and is committed to maintaining the highest clinical standards while fostering a supportive and reassuring environment for both patients and colleagues.

Iain has over 25 years’ experience in clinical engineering in both the NHS and private sector. He has also taken on senior management and deputy director roles within estates departments at NHS Trusts he has worked.

Iain is a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), through whom he is registered as a Chartered Engineer. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM).

He is currently the Vice Chair of the IHEEM medical device technical platform. He has previously held the role of Vice President – Engineering for IPEM and prior to this he served on the IPEM board of trustees.

Iain was part of the BSI committee which developed BS70000 and has acted as an external advisor and lecturer on the Clinical Engineering degree at the University of the West of England. He has also served as the Registrar for the Register of Clinical Technologists.

Carolina is a highly experienced Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Clinical Technologist with a strong focus on clinical practice, education, professional development and leadership and management. Currently she is the Deputy Service Lead for NM & PET/CT (Chelsea site) at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

Actively involved with IPEM and The Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT), holds key leadership roles, including Deputy Scheme Lead for IPEM’s Clinical Technologist Training Scheme, Lead Assessor for the RCT and IPEM representative on the RCT Management Board.

In addition to their clinical and educational work, Carolina is an author and co-author of book chapters in the field of Nuclear Medicine. She also contributes to curriculum development as an External Practice-Led Adviser and Independent Assessor at the University of the West of England. Passionate about advancing education and evidence-based practice, she continues to mentor and support the next generation of clinical technologists.
