Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT) Equivalence and How to Get it

IPEM are excited to introduce a new piece of Training aimed at those who are looking to gain RCT registration through the Equivalence route and those who support/supervise aspiring registrants going through the equivalence process.

 

Following an IPEM RCT Meet and Greet webinar, we looked at feedback from attendees around support on RCT Equivalence, and we have taken the feedback and developed this Training day.

Topics will include a brief overview of the RCT Equivalence Process.  You will hear from volunteers on their experience of putting together their portfolio and assessors on expectations. The last session will be an interactive breakout session where you will be put into smaller groups to share and discuss challenges and solutions.

As well as a live session to meet and network online, there will also be pre-learning material which we recommend you view on the Learning Management System before the day.

• Recognise the relevance of RCT Equivalence Registration and what it means
• Understand the application and assessment process for RCT Equivalence Route
• Learn from assessors and those who have recently experienced the process
• Identify potential challenges and solutions to meeting required standard
