How to Support Aspiring MPEs
The Training is aimed at those supporting aspiring MPEs. This can be Line Managers, Supervisors and Heads of Departments.
Included within the training will be a brief overview of the process individuals go through, how to mentor, coach and engage an aspiring MPE, understanding the different types of portfolios and mapping the evidence and planning with them. We will also hear from our experienced volunteers on what they have learnt through the process of supporting someone and the challenges they have come across.
The day will also include an interactive session where you will be split into smaller groups to look at how to undertake a training gap analysis and opportunity to look at examples of evidence and what you think is still missing or is adequate evidence. We will also hear from an assessor on their experiences and best practice.
There will be opportunity for Q&A where our panel of keen volunteers will help answer any questions.
The benefit of this training will be sharing best practice to help ensure that aspiring MPEs are succeeding, to ensure more consistency and using your time as efficiently as you can to support them. The training will also help set correct precedent for future expectations.
We would also like to thank our volunteers for supporting this programme.
