Fundamentals of Clinical Engineering
Fundamentals of Clinical Engineering is primarily aimed at Clinical Engineering technical staff new to the profession (assistant level staff) - holding level 3 qualifications or higher in a technical or scientific subject - but is inclusive to staff holding higher positions and qualifications.
This course will deliver and develop knowledge fundamental to the role of a Clinical Engineering technical role and will cover key regulatory & legislative requirements, basic anatomy & physiology, clinical applications and functional basics of common reusable medical devices, electrical safety testing, medical device integration & networking, and quality management systems.
The next course will run in September/October 2025.
