Training Content Contributor - MPE

Are you a certified MPE who wishes to share their experience and help aspiring MPEs to gain their certification? Then look no further!

Following feedback and market research, it is clear that more support for aspiring MPEs would be beneficial. Our findings show that many aspiring MPEs face difficulties in the below areas, and so these topics are the focus of two brand new eLearning modules we are developing.

  • Medical Radiological Equipment Management
  • Medical Exposure Optimisation

We want to turn existing knowledge and real-world experience into resources more people can access. We will do this by bringing together a small group of volunteers who will use their experience and knowledge to produce the content for each topic, for IPEM’s LMS Officer to develop into eLearning modules. As well as supporting the growth of the MPE field, this role will provide you with the opportunity to develop yourself professionally. By working with others, you'll have the chance to share ideas, challenge your thinking, and gain new skills in digital learning.

Examples of potential activity:

  • Producing relevant content, typically in the format of PowerPoint or Word
  • Producing short quiz questions
  • Reviewing draft versions of content developed by the LMS Officer

The role and this format is still relatively new for us, so we'll adapt as we go to make sure it works for us and you! You don't need experience in eLearning or design (we'll manage that side of things), as long as you have the MPE knowledge, that's what we're after! It's a chance to get creative, share your wisdom, and ultimately help others in your field.

Deadline for application is Friday 6th March at 12pm.

We're happy to have a chat about what this role involves before you apply for it, just drop our LMS Officer an email: nancy@ipem.ac.uk.
