Vice President International

We are looking for a new Vice President International to join our Members Advisory and Prioriitisation Council (MAPC). MAPC is the overarching council providing longer term direction to the work of the wider volunteering structure ensuring maximum impact and efficiency in IPEM's work. The council was created for one core purpose - to ensure IPEM's work is led by the ideas, expertise and needs of our members. The role involves advising IPEM on international issues, keeping MAPC members informed about international developments, presenting at international meetings and assessing applications for awards such as the UKIO International Bursary and the LMIC Award. It also includes horizon‑scanning for new partnerships and strengthening relationships with international bodies and IPEM committees.

 

You'll need to be a full member or Fellow and have knowledge of the international landscape for medical physics/clinical engineering alongside the ability to build and maintain relationships with international organisations. We anticipate no more than 10 days per year time commitment for this role. There are 4 MAPC meetings a year, 3 held on Teams (90 mins each) and 1 in person meeting.
