IPEM's Workforce Intelligence Unit (WIU) is gathering information about the current Radiotherapy workforce in terms of establishment and vacancies.
The survey asks for information on the following:
- staff in your department; headcount, WTE worked and age range (aggregated by staff group)
- amounts of trainees
- number of established posts by agenda for change grading (or experience is AfC not used)
- number of established posts allocated by IPEM's 2017 Policy Statement algorithm for adequate staffing levels
- recruitment difficulties & training concerns

IPEM intends to use this workforce information to guide IPEM policy on training, to argue for increased provision, suggest routes through which the needs of the workforce can be met and to respond to Calls for Evidence.
Data will only be publicised in accordance with the WIU's Data Sharing Policy, in an aggregated form and no information about an identifiable individual will be made public.
