A multi-professional working group has been preparing a guidance document to support the planning, installation, acceptance and subsequent use of new clinical MRI installations. A draft version of this is now available to download for review and comment.
Please use the following comments template to compile any comments and suggestions that you have on the draft, and send this to geoff.charles-edwards@rmh.nhs.uk by the end of Friday 20th March 2026.
Many thanks to everyone who previously contributed real-world examples of various issues. We have selected many of these to support some of the recommendations in these guidelines. If you feel there are further examples we should consider, including positive examples, please include these at the end of your comments.
