ABMRS MRSE exam moves online

THE American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS) has announced they are moving to holding electronic exams.

These will be hosted at Prometric testing centres. Registration for these is already open in the US, with registration at UK testing centres for the international versions of the exams expected shortly.

IPEM is therefore not planning to host any further in-person ABMRS MR Safety Expert (MRSE) exams at this time.

Successfully passing the ABMRS MRSE exam is required to demonstrate knowledge for the IPEM MRSE Certificate of Competence scheme, which launched in 2021.
