ABMRS MRSE exam moves online

THE American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS) has announced they are moving to holding electronic exams.

These will be hosted at Prometric testing centres and registration for them is expected to open in the US this summer, with exams modified for the UK available in the autumn.

IPEM is therefore not planning to host any further in-person ABMRS MR Safety Expert (MRSE) exams at this time.

Successfully passing the ABMRS MRSE exam is required to demonstrate knowledge for the IPEM MRSE Certificate of Competence scheme, which launched in 2021.
