The GCEA Awards are one of the highest international recognitions in our profession, celebrating the individuals, teams and organisations advancing Clinical Engineering and Health Technology Management worldwide. Categories include collaboration, technician/technologist leadership, academic excellence, international partnership, and outstanding achievement.
There are 5 GCEA awards open for nomination;
1. GCEA Collaboraitve Capacity Building Awards
2. GCEA Technician/Technologist Leadership Award
3. GCEA-AMTZ Mario Castaneda International Collaboration award
4. GCEA Jiang Yuanhai & William Hyman Global Academic Award for outstanding contributions to the Clinical Engineering discipline
5. GCEA Global Lifetime Service Award

IPEM has been asked to:
- Submit at least one nomination in each category
- Consider nominees at every career stage, early-career professionals and technicians included, not just senior leaders, as well as outstanding teams and collaborative programmes.
MAPC will have the final decision on which IPEM members will be nominated, should there be a high volume of applicants.
