National Briefing Webinar: Implementing MRT Dosimetry - Understanding Coding, Costing and Funding

This webinar aims to build a shared understanding of the principles underpinning MRT dosimetry coding, costing and funding, with a particular focus on the NHS England arrangements, enabling clinical services and finance teams to work together to support consistent implementation and equitable access to high-quality MRT dosimetry.

 

A key aim is to encourage services undertaking MRT dosimetry to record and code that activity consistently, making it visible to help build the evidence base for costing and future funding.

By the end of the webinar participants will:

• understand how MRT dosimetry activity flows from recording and coding through grouping and costing, and how this can inform future pricing and payment arrangements;
• understand the respective roles of clinical services and finance teams;
• be equipped to engage locally to  ensure MRT dosimetry activity is appropriately recorded and coded.

Audience

This webinar is aimed at Heads of Nuclear Medicine, Heads of Medical Physics, Service Managers, Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists involved in MRT services.

This webinar is open to IPEM Members and non members and is free of charge; however you must book your place in order to attend.
