MPEC 2021 - Breaking Through Barriers!

This year we are welcoming abstracts for MPEC 2021 on the theme of Breaking Through Barriers. After an unprecedented year that has seen a world turned upside down, our profession has shown itself to be truly ground breaking and proved just how resilient we can be. This is what we want to showcase at our annual event in September.

We are now reopening abstract submission for specific topics:

New Practices
Planning the recovery

We are also keen for people to submit poster abstracts on all subjects, as well as to hear from Trainees who want to submit. For trainees we are going to offer the opportunity to receive individual feedback on their presentations from senior members of the Institute as a CPD opportunity.

Abstracts can be up to 500 words in length and can include images and tables which are not included in the word count. The title and authors are not included in the word count.

A conference abstract book will be produced with an ISDN number for publication of accepted abstracts, where permission is given.

When submitting an abstract you will be asked to confirm the following terms and conditions:

* I grant IPEM a non–exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display and store the abstract worldwide in all forms (including on the Institute’s website), formats and media now known or as developed in the future, including print, electronic and digital forms.
*I will retain copyright of my abstract, in addition to the moral rights I am entitled to as author of the abstract.
* The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the abstract.
* I confirm that the submission has been approved by all authors.
* At least one author will be available to present the abstract if selected for the programme. All authors presenting at the Conference will register and pay to attend.
