This training will provide an overview of the Higher Specialist Scientist Equivalence route from the AHCS, hearing from those with experience of the process and an opportunity to look at the requirements for HSS registration in more detail.

The course covers DCB0129: Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Manufacture of Health IT Systems and DCB0160: Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Deployment and Use of Health IT Systems. 

Magnetic Resonance Image Guided Radiotherapy

The aim of this course is to equip workplace supervisors to deliver and facilitate training for their HSST trainees. The aim is to give an overview of the HSST training programme. It covers the role and responsibilities of the workplace supervisor and the HSST Trainee and provides guidance on how to ensure success for trainees. The training day also gives workplace supervisors the opportunity to meet other supervisors and some members of the School team to discuss and share best practice.

AI in Assessment

The AI in Assessment training day is open to Assessors, Supervisors, Mentors and Trainers in both academic and clinical settings. It provides an introduction to the development of AI in Large Language Models such as ChatGPT and their impact on different assessment types. Bookings will open soon.
