Scientific Computing Symposium
Background Image for Hero Banner

This will be the first Scientific Computing Special Interest Group Symposium, intended to be held on an annual basis to provide a forum for presentations on current issues, best practices and research relating to the use of clinical & scientific computing within the IPEM community.

The central theme for the 2022 Symposium will be the current state of Scientific Computing as an IPEM discipline. We invite speakers to discuss topics of interest as indicated by the Community of Interest; proffered papers on Scientific Computing in support of clinical practice; and a panel discussion on “The Scientific Computing Model – how Scientific Computing departments have been established and their work within their respective Healthcare institutions”.

This will be the first annual symposium for the recently established Scientific Computing Special Interest Group and the focus will be on how we can support members of the Scientific Computing Community and the Scientific Computing profession and establish it as a key resource in healthcare institutions.
