Radionuclide Therapy - Sharing Best Practice for Safe and Optimal Services
This one-day, online event will showcase best practice and share learning gained from the delivery of molecular radiotherapy, including but not limited to Lu-177-based treatments. This will include topics such as practical aspects of safe therapy delivery, accurate and efficient methods for dosimetry, and how dosimetry services can be developed and sustained within an NHS setting.
The demand for molecular radiotherapy services has been increasing, due in part, to the introduction of new therapy types, such as Lu-177 PSMA, as well as continued demand for established therapies, such as I-131 for thyroid disease, Lu-177 dotatates and Y-90 SIRTs. The event aims to provide valuable information to the many centres that are setting up new therapy or dosimetry services to support increased demand for radionuclide therapies and the expected expansion of Lu-177 PSMA therapy across the UK.
