Advanced neuro MRI is a fast-developing field and now is a good time to explore the developments in these new areas, look at the opportunities/obstacles relating to clinical translation and also reflect back on the experience of establishing clinical services involving other techniques.
Organised by IPEM's Magnetic Resonance Special Interest Group
IPEM would like to invite you to this in-person event to discuss developments and opportunities in Advanced Neuro MRI.
Imaging the brain using MRI is a well-established and well-developed area of clinical work but it is also an application of MRI that is constantly evolving and developing. This meeting will explore the current challenges and opportunities relating to the implementation of a range of advanced clinical neuroimaging techniques – from resting-state functional MRI to MR fingerprinting to perfusion and susceptibility mapping. We would like to encourage talks from various perspectives, including new clinical research directions, clinical need and translation, technique optimisation, and development and use of post-processing tools/pipelines – across a wide range of applications.
Educational outcomes include:
- To gain useful information on the current status and future direction of advanced clinical neuro MRI across a wide range of disease areas and conditions.
- To increase technical knowledge of advanced neuro MRI, including sequence/protocol optimisation and specialist image/data processing.
Current abstracts are available at the bottom of this page.
