Annual Declaration

Each December registrants on the IPEM CPD Scheme will be contacted by email with a request to submit an online annual declaration confirming they have undertaken CPD in that year.  All registrants should complete the declaration by 31 January which asks a brief number of questions and allows for registrants to respond accordingly if they have been unable to undertake CPD due to issues such as ill health, parental leave or a career break.

To submit the online annual declaration registrants should:

Log in to the IPEM website
Go to My IPEM
Go to My Account
Go to
 My [year] CPD Declaration to submit

A confirmation message will appear on screen once the declaration has been successfully submitted - take a screenshot if necessary for your records.

Science Council Registrants
IPEM CPD Scheme registrants who are also registered with the Science Council (as RSciTech, RSci or CSci) must complete the annual declaration by the deadline advertised.  IPEM is required by the Science Council to remove any registrant from the register who is not actively engaged in CPD activities.

Part II Trainees
Part II trainees are automatically registered on the IPEM CPD Scheme and should complete their annual declaration as normal.  Part II trainees will not be selected for audit as the training scheme is evidence of performing CPD.

New Registrants
The IPEM CPD Scheme audits the previous year's activities.  So, for the first year, a registrant will need to complete the annual declaration to let us know CPD has been undertaken but those registrants will not be selected for audit for that year.
