Survey on clinical academic careers for healthcare scientists

MEMBERS’ views are being sought on clinical academic careers for healthcare scientists – but you need to act fast.

NHS England, via Health Education England, has commissioned a survey to provide an evaluation of the current landscape for healthcare scientists in terms of clinical academic careers.

This will help to provide recommendations as a next step to addressing potential barriers and maximising opportunities.

A research team from Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Institute of Mental Health and University of Nottingham is leading the review.

IPEM members are being asked to contribute to two short surveys, with a closing date of Sunday 19 March.

The professional survey is aimed at capturing your expertise and experience; if you have a managerial role and can provide workforce information then you are urged to also complete the workforce survey
