NEW guidance has been issued for testing non-surgical oncology healthcare workers and asymptomatic patients attending oncology departments for elective treatment.

The guidance has been written by two oncology specialists and approved by the Radiotherapy Board, which IPEM is a member of. The Board, consisting of IPEM, the Royal College of Radiologists and the Society and College of Radiographers, provides guidance, oversight and support for the continuing development of high-quality radiotherapy services for cancer patients in the UK.
