A SERVICE to celebrate the Year of Engineering at Westminster Abbey will be attended by members from the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.
Representatives from the engineering community will join the Rt Hon Chris Grayling, the Secretary of State for Transport, government representatives and Year of Engineering partners to mark the outstanding contribution that engineers past and present have made to society.
Among those attending from IPEM will be President Professor Mark Tooley, President Elect Professor Stephen O’Connor, Vice President Engineering Dr George Dempsey, Fellow Jo Young, Dr Lorna Tasker, and Keratiloe Moyo.
The service, which is being held on 22 November, will also highlight the importance of inspiring the next generation of budding engineers.
