ARE you interested in learning more about the Improving Clinical Engineering and Physical Science Services (iCEPSS)? If so, a webinar is being held in August to give more information to those who are interested.
The webinar will explore the development of the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) programme, including iCEPSS and the decision to base the accreditation on BS70000.
It will consider the links between certification standards and the process of accreditation and the implications for medical physics and clinical engineering services. The webinar will also outline the current thinking on the potential scopes for accreditation and provide an update on the status of the project and timelines for accreditation assessments, together with the requirements for recruitment of peer assessors.
The webinar will be hosted by Dr Peter Jarritt, former IPEM President, who is chair of the UKAS Technical Advisory Committee. It will provide an opportunity to ask questions regarding the programme and to input into key issues that need to be addressed to facilitate the accreditation programme.
It is being held on Tuesday 15 August, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and numbers are strictly limited to 100, so please register early to ensure access to the webinar. To register for the webinar, please click here.
IPEM, NHS England and UKAS released a joint statement earlier this year regarding iCEPSS and more recently UKAS released a call for potential pilot sites and specialisms. For more on this click here.
