The IPEM National Office is based in York at 230 Tadcaster Road. The three meeting rooms and WC facilities are wheelchair accessible.
The Knavesmire Room (left) seats 20 in boardroom style.
This room has fully integrated AV equipment with an 80” LCD wall mounted screen. There are full videoconferencing and teleconferencing facilities.
The room has a large boardroom table with comfortable chairs. Positioned within the table are multiple power sockets, and HDMI or VGA connections for presenting directly from your seat.
There is a lectern for presenting from the front of the room. The room is fully accessible and includes a hearing loop. There is also wifi available if needed, and a hot drinks machine in the room. The room has heating and comfort cooling.
The Ebor room (right) seats up to 12 and has a 55” wall mounted screen. Again full videoconferencing facilities are available.
There is both HDMI and VGA connections available for presenting. Multiple power sockets are positioned in the floor. There is also wifi available, and a hot drinks machine in the room. The room has heating and comfort cooling.
In addition to the two main rooms, the Library (left) can be used for meetings of up to 5 people. This room has wifi and can be used for small teleconferences.
The Knavesmire and Ebor Rooms have views over the Knavesmire racecourse. Parking is available onsite if pre-booked and Fairmount House is only a 20 minute walk or a five minute taxi journey from the train station; alternatively there are regular buses stopping outside.
We realise that good quality food is an essential part of a successful meeting. A number of different buffet style catering options are available. All tea and coffee is included in the meeting room hire.
