Medical Engineering and Physics: Call for Papers: Special Issue - MEIBioeng/MPEC 2017

The research papers to be included in this Special Issue will have been presented at the MEIBioeng/MPEC 2017 Meeting, the first time that there has been a combined Meeting between MEIBioeng and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.

The Meeting, and the papers presented, will cover the whole multidisciplinary spectrum of topics from medical physics to clinical and biomedical engineering and from academic research to clinical applications. Specific topics to be covered include:

  • biomedical and clinical engineering
  • computational modelling
  • medical robotics and imaging
  • radiotherapy and radiation physics

Prospective authors are encouraged to contact the Special Issue Editor, Stephen Keevil (stephen.keevil@kcl.ac.uk) in advance, indicating their interest and a tentative title of the paper. The submitted papers must be original and not accepted/submitted in any journal/ book chapter/other mode of publication.

All papers will be subject to peer review and must comply withMedical Engineering and PhysicsGuide for Authors:http://www.medengphys.com/content/authorinfo

Papers should be submitted online:http://ees.elsevier.com/mep/and authors should choose article type: "MPEC2017". (Authors should also mention the special issue in the cover letter during submission).

Prospective authors should note thatthose papers not selected for inclusion will appear in the next available issue, but will be marked as having been presented at MPEC/MEIBioeng2017 and form part of an extended virtual special issue.
