MEIbioeng/MPEC2017 will be a two day scientific meeting covering all aspects of medical engineering and physics, from cutting-edge academic research to innovative clinical practice. This is a very exciting collaboration for 2017 between IPEM and King's College London. Abstract submission is invited in a broad range of topic areas including:

Biomedical engineering Clinical engineering 
Computational modelling  Imaging physics
Medical robotics Radiation physics
Radiotherapy physics Student/Trainee

 

Contributions are invited from students and trainees as well as established academic and clinical staff. Papers will be allocated to oral, or poster sessions according to where they best fit within the program. 

Full details on the format required for abstracts and the abstract submission form can be found on the submission site. Abstracts must be submitted on the website. The accepted abstracts for this conference will be published (with ISSN number), which all delegates will receive.

The deadline for abstract submission is the 31st March 2017.

Abstract Format and Review Criteria

All abstracts submitted will be peer-reviewed prior to acceptance. The Review Criteria will be:

·         A clear statement of the problem and its significance to physics and engineering in medicine and biology

·         The originality and contribution of the work

·         The methodological quality

·         The outcome and its relevance.

It is important that you adhere to the exact format specified in the abstract submission guidelines on the website in order to qualify for entry into the abstract publication. 

Please note that all proffered presenters are required to register and pay the appropriate registration fee in order to present. Reduced registration rates are available to IPEM members and to staff of the Medical Engineering Centres of Excellence for 2017.
