MEIBioeng and MPEC 2017, 13-14 September 2017

This year MPEC will be for the first time combined with the Medical Engineering Initiative’s Bioengineering conference.

The Medical Engineering Initiative is a major funding stream from the Wellcome Trust and EPSRC which has established four academic Medical Engineering Centres of Excellence with research strengths covering all areas of bioengineering and medical imaging physics.

Building on the integration of the Bioengineering Society with IPEM, MEIBioeng/MPEC2017 will be the biggest MPEC ever. It is expected to attract more than 300 people to scientific streams on the spectrum from medical physics to clinical and biomedical engineering, and from academic research to clinical applications.

We are excited to be working with King’s College London, one of the MEI centres, on the scientific programme for this event, which will be organised, as usual, by the IPEM conference team.

The event will be on the 13th and 14th September at Sandown Park Racecourse, Esher, Surrey.
