The Scientist Training Programme (STP) is a three year training programme run by the National School of Healthcare Science on behalf of the NHS. This is a very competitive programme which is oversubscribed.  Recruitment generally starts in January with a clearly defined deadline. This Webinar is aimed at any person with an interest in applying for the STP. The webinar will be relevant for those that have completed their degree, are studying for their Undergraduate/Masters and even students completing their A levels with an interest in working in Medical Physics in the future. This webinar aims to bring together past experiences and shared learning from an STP trainee and a training supervisor/mentor, the meeting will also offer a short overview of alternative career pathways into Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering.

Webinar Aims/outcomes:

• To get an insight into STP from a trainees perspective and from a training supervisor/mentors perspective
• To have the opportunity to ask any questions about the application process and alternative routes into careers in Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering.
