MR Safety Update 2019

MR Safety is a broad and constantly evolving area.  Changes in legislation, advancements in technology and new research findings all result in changes in opinion and practice with regard to MR safety.  This meeting will aim to cover a wide range of topics including guidance and legislation, safety management and the safe scanning of implants.  There will be a particular focus on hot topics such as contrast agents, the safe scanning of pacemakers and ICDs and MR safety accreditation.  This meeting provides an important platform for sharing best practice within the MR community, and will allow attendees to ensure their local policies reflect current best practice in MRI safety.  



Learning outcomes
1. To gain useful information on current safety guidance and its practical implementation.
2. To increase safety expertise through knowledge of experiences and practices within the MR community.

3. MR Radiographers
