The Physics and Technology of Medical Ultrasound 2019

Organised by IPEM's Ultrasound and Non-Ionising Radiation Special Interest Group 

This biennial meeting attracts talks and delegates from a variety of environments, including hospitals, academia, the NPL and industry. The topics for the proffered papers should include Quality Assurance, ultrasound measurement, scientific solutions to clinical problems and the latest developments in clinical ultrasound. This will be a great opportunity to meet and network with leading experts in clinical ultrasound physics and technology.

Learning Outcome
Developments in ultrasound measurement, QA, and technological advances

Target Audience

Physicists, technologists, trainees, Ultrasound Service Managers and Sonographers from hospitals, academia and industry who work with clinical ultrasound systems. 

Abstract Submission
Abstract submissions are invited from interested professionals in healthcare, industry and academia. Presentations in all relevant areas and disciplines are welcome. Topics may include Quality Assurance, Optimisation, Emerging Technologies and Equipment issues (refurbished transducers), ultrasound measurement, scientific solutions to clinical problems, and the latest developments in clinical ultrasound.
