Organised by IPEM's Magnetic Resonance Special Interest Group Safety within MR imaging departments or organisations is a wide and constantly evolving topic. Changes in legislation, the evolution of technology and new research findings all result in changes in opinion and practice with regard to MR safety. This meeting provides an important platform for communication on issues relating to MR safety. The purpose is to provide attendees with up to date information which can be used to help implement successful Safety Frameworks within individual institutions. It will additionally act as an opportunity to discuss experiences and practices. Topics will include updates on current and future guidelines, safe scanning of implants and relevant developments in technology.Learning outcomes1.
