Organised by IPEM's Radiotherapy Special Interest Group Does your QA system minimise the chance of failure of treatment? Does it target the most likely points of failure in the radiotherapy process? Quality Assurance is paramount when failures could cause significant harm to patients, and IPEM's 2017 update to report 81 gives recommendations on how to ensure quality in the radiotherapy process. This meeting is an opportunity to discuss all aspects of QA in the radiotherapy process including pre-treatment imaging, treatment planning, treatment delivery, verification imaging, brachytherapy, high dose and high dose-rate exposures, function-based and process-based testing, automated and manual testing, manufacturer's and in-house tests.
