IPEM’s Public Engagement Panel (PEP) is a new network of volunteers who are not part of the health-related physics, engineering or technologist professions, and not members of IPEM. We look to this network to bring a wider perspective to the work of the Institute. Members might, for example:
• Assess the content and accessibility of the website or publications from a public perspective
• Help judge awards for public-scientist partnership work
• Advise on our public engagement programme and activities
• Help target our careers and outreach work to new audiences.
The PEP is not a patient involvement group, and will not be commenting on health services.
The panel is chaired by one of our independent Trustees, John Turner, and meets twice a year at Fairmount House, the IPEM offices in York. Please see the documents below if you would like to apply to join the panel.
