Honorary fellowship is awarded for outstanding contributions
in the field of physics or engineering applied to medicine or related biological science. Up to and including September 2010, 52 Honorary fellows or equivalent have been appointed to IPEM and its forerunner
organisations. Currently there are 18 alive.
