What is CPD? 

CPD is the planned acquisition of knowledge, experience and skills and the development of personal qualities throughout one's working life encompassing, where appropriate, scientific, technical, clinical and more general matters.

The IPEM CPD scheme was re-launched in January 2006 to bring it in line with the Health Professions’ Council (HPC) CPD framework that became mandatory for all HPC registrants in July 2006.
