Research Summaries
 The work of scientists and engineers in healthcare touches the lives of many, whether it is by developing safer radiotherapy treatments, new medical imaging techniques, or improved assistive technology for disabled people. The technical literature in our field is full of reports of innovations that might well be of interest to the wider public.
