DURHAM AND DARLINGTON UNIT
Salary: £45,254 - £55,945 per annum Hours: Full Time, 37½ hours per week
We would like to hear from you if you are enthusiastic and committed to the development of nuclear medicine services. The Durham and Darlington Unit is part of the Regional Medical Physics Department. The Unit incorporates a broad range of medical physics services, including nuclear medicine services across four sites for County Durham and Darlington and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trusts.
You will be part of a friendly and professional team providing a comprehensive range of around 9,500 nuclear medicine investigations per annum. You will be responsible for both scientific and clinical aspects of the nuclear medicine service at the University Hospital of Hartlepool, maintaining and developing service standards in conjunction with the head of section. This is an exciting time for the service at the University Hospitals of North Tees and Hartlepool as plans are made to bring split site services into new dedicated single site facilities within the next few years. You will initiate and lead research and development and there will be opportunity for contributing unit wide and at a regional level; some cross site working is expected. You will have wide ranging experience in nuclear medicine with proven communication and organisational skills.
