You will provide a comprehensive nuclear medicine and bone densitometry service for the North East Sector at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill Hospital. You will become part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a wide ranging nuclear medicine service. The sector has 4 gamma cameras including two SPECT-CT double headed gamma cameras, cell labelling facilities, non-imaging equipment and a Hologics DEXA scanner. The work load is large and varied and includes imaging, non-imaging and therapeutic administrations of radioisotopes and a large DEXA workload including fracture liaison and direct access service. The Stobhill unit has recently moved to a purpose built facility within the Ambulatory Care Hospital. You will have an excellent opportunity to work with an enthusiastic clinical, scientific, nursing and medical team.

You should be able to demonstrate evidence of significant experience in nuclear medicine or imaging. You must be a state registered clinical scientist (Physics) on the register of the Health Professions Council. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate the experience necessary to act as a Medical Physics Expert in nuclear medicine.
