The Global Imaging Network consists of scientists and technologists based in the UK, US, Scandinavia and India. The group makes a fundamental contribution to the cutting-edge research and development of new diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals, including PET agents, and vascular contrast media throughout the preclinical, clinical and post-licensing phases.
The Role: The Network's Imaging Technology Operations Group is seeking to add a medical physicist with clinical and practical experience in diagnostic nuclear medicine and / or PET. The key responsibility of this position is the scientific and technical design and support of clinical imaging trials of new diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals and PET agents being conducted in the UK and Europe. Such support would include on-site supervision of quality assurance in image acquisition and image analysis.
Applicant Requirements:
· Diagnostic nuclear medicine and/or PET experience
· Strong communication skills
· The ability to work under pressure and changing deadlines
· Must also be willing to travel within the UK and Europe
· Clinical experience in PET is desirable but not essential
