The Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services seeks to appoint a Deputy Chief Physicist (Education). The role includes the planning, development and supervision of radiation oncology physicist post-graduate training and additional high quality, medical physics support to W. P. Holman Clinic. The Clinic is in the process of expanding the radiation oncology service from two to three multi-modality accelerators and also provides high dose rate brachytherapy services to the State.
This is a permanent full-time day work vacancy with some out of hours work. Recreational leave is six weeks per year.
