Recent years have seen major technological advances in the field of diagnostic radiology both in terms of software applications and equipment.  Tomosynthesis, dual energy subtraction, cone beam CT, computer-aided detection (CAD), CT radiotherapy, vascular and interventional radiology are just some of the areas of application.

The aim of this one day meeting will be to examine and review these technologies together with their role in the NHS in providing new diagnostic applications.  The meeting will also look at the role of the clinical scientist/technologist in supporting these new technologies in terms of implementation, evaluation and optimisation.
